Darkened Sun
Classic Metal from Colorado Springs, CO
Darkened Sun is a classic metal style band hailing from Colorado Springs, Colorado. They are influenced by W.A.S.P., Metallica, Iron Maiden, Rush, Dokken, and Dio. Just to name a few. They have been together since October of 2022 as Darkened Sun. Before that Co-Founding member, Kevin Lawson was with FN Wylde until founding member and main song writer Allister Creed passed. The remaining members formed Overpowered AF to carry the torch on. After that band dissolved, Darkened Sun was born from the ashes.
They have played together over several dozen shows, ranging from Raton, NM to Casper, WY. They have made an EP, Black Caravan, at the end of June of 2025 at Sunshine Studios Live in Colorado Springs, and hopefully a full-length album the middle of 2026. Keep a look out for what they have in store!
